The Bookwallah took five writers and an ingenious travelling library across India by train. Three Indian and two Australian writers journeyed through the cities and towns of modern India in search of stories, conversations and connections.

It’s like a Wes Anderson film, except moving and realistic and awesome.


Members of the South Carolina House of Representatives on Wednesday voted to cut $70,000 in funding from two public colleges that assigned two books about same-sex relationships to freshmen students.

And adding the South Carolina state legislature to the naughty list.
