Cover Face-Off: Margaret Atwood’s IN OTHER WORLDS
Part-memoir, part-lit crit, all awesome, Margaret Atwood’s In Other Worlds: SF and the Human Imagination is a contemplation of the evolution of science fiction and the author’s relationship with it. There’s a certain amount of whimsy in both cover designs; the hardcover is decidedly futuristic, while the paperback recalls pulp novels of decades past. Are paperback readers more nostalgic for days gone by? Am I reading too much into this?
