This has been a week of ALL THE CONTROVERSIES. We’ve got the YA ratings thing. The whitewashing thing. The “Orange Prize is losing its color/juice/insert less-than-clever-joke-here” thing. The Waterstones-selling-Kindles thing. And, of course, the Esquire “Fiction for Men” thing. I don’t even know where to start. What do you make of any/all of these?
