The Bestselling Books of the Week, According to All the Lists

Once again, the bestseller lists can’t agree. There isn’t a single title that makes into the top ten of all of the biggest bestseller lists this week. There are some clear frontrunners, though: Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, The Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins, and Say You’ll Remember Me by Abby Jimenez. The Empyrean series by Rebecca Yarros is still holding on to its bestseller status, but it’s definitely fallen from its peak of popularity.

So You Want to Learn Some Things About Art

You know that thing people say about wine? “I don’t know what it is, I just know that I like it.” That’s me with art…I love the mystery and magic of the way art bypasses my conscious mind and just makes me feel things. But somewhere along the way—probably while contemplating some gonzo piece of modern art—I started wanting to understand it, at least a little bit. Join me as I roll my own Art 101 syllabus.

8 Cozy Mysteries Starring Senior Sleuths

It’s a good time for elderly sleuths. Then again, I think elderly sleuths have always been a staple in the world of mysteries, with the obvious example of Miss Marple. We’re seeing more diversity in elderly sleuths too, which is a boon for readers and writers alike. So, here’s a list of eight cozy mysteries featuring elderly sleuths in some way.

15 of the Most Anticipated Queer Books of 2025

For the last few months, I’ve been wading through endless tabs of lists, recommendations, and sources for upcoming queer books—and I’m not done yet. This is definitely not a comprehensive list of 2025 queer releases. In fact, I plan to follow this up with several genre-specific 2025 queer books lists, because I have… oh, about 350 titles noted down so far, and that’s before we start getting into fall new releases, which also happens to be the biggest publishing season.

All that is to say that it was very difficult to narrow this down to just 15—it was supposed to be 10—new queer books out in 2025.
