The Library Rock-Hunting Game We All Need
A math teacher in St Albans, England, recently painted miniature versions of well-known children’s book covers onto stones. Then she hid a few near her local library to “encourage a few visits!”
I've been painting miniature book covers for our local rock finding game. I'll hide them near our local library – it might encourage a few visits! #libraries pic.twitter.com/LL7cayxDDE

The stone paintings Ella Dickson posted to her Twitter feed were all popular books for young readers.

She then hid them at Marshalswick Library.

Dickson told the HuffPo UK that she “started to make stones with her sons Seth, 10 and Jonah, 7,” and became “a bit addicted.”
Also, Dickson is apparently a member of St Albans Rocks UK, a group that paints rocks and hides them around the city. If you have the skills, you might consider painting and hiding a few of your own!
