I was inspired by what I was seeing others do with the 1 Book/1 Like campaign on Twitter, so I resolved to jump in…but only recommending books by people of color or comics with at least one person of color on the creative team. These books skew very heavily towards South Asia because that’s my passion and my area of focus when it comes to reading. There are innumerable titles I could have suggested, but have not yet read, so this list is by no means comprehensive. However, I made sure I didn’t repeat authors, so hopefully this will be a valuable resource when you’re looking for more books by PoCs to read!
