I don’t hold books sacred.

My shelves are a sea of dog-eared pages, top AND bottom. Those top dog-ears note where I am, of course, and the bottom folds highlight pages I want to go back to. When I’m really jiving with a book, I’ll even pull out the double-fold dog-ear for those passages that just get me.

Now, if the thought of all those dog-eared pages made you shudder, don’t go further.

If you dig some sacrilege with your books, however, keep on. There are amazing artists out there who are going way beyond the dog-ear with their folded book art.

Note: Support your book artists! When I could find them, I’ve included buy links. All images are from the artist websites linked to before each collection.
