Every week, a different Panelteer will give you a rundown of the comics they’re most looking forward to for the week. Floppies, trades, and omniboo are all fair game here. This week, Andi Miller tells us whats on her pull list.

This week is the mother load of pull lists for me. Every time I write a post like this, it seems like my very favorite comics are not up for publication. I always have something coming down the pike, but this week some of the best are on deck.

jem2

My excitement for the premier issue of Jem and the Holograms, by Kelly Thompson, Sophie Campbell, and Amy Mebberson, was significant. Turn that excitement up to 11 this week as we count down the days until issue #2 , when we meet the bad girls on the block, The Misfits.

Jerrica Benton has discovered her confidence with a little help from Synergy and her bandmates, so now it’s time for Pizzazz, Jetta, Roxy, and Stormer to stir up some trouble for the fledgling musicians.

alexada14

Alex + Ada #14, by Jonathan Luna and Sarah Vaughn, is a constant favorite, and I get excited every time I see a new issue come around. In #13 the action I’d been waiting for really kicked off, and this latest issue promises to keep up the intrigue and excitement going. Alex and Ada are on the run, and the government seems to be hot on their heels.

Bitchplanet_04

And the comic on everyone’s list this week is undoubtedly Bitch Planet #4 by Kelly Sue DeConnick and Valentine de Landro. Who isn’t talking about this series? While it took a while to win me over, I was absolutely sold on issue #3.

With a death match approaching and a secret prisoner who may prove to be the key to victory, I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on this.

hemaneternitywar5

And last, but not least, to confirm my obsession with comics based cartoons of the ’80s, let’s talk about He-Man: The Eternity War #5, by Dan Abnett, Pop Mhan, and Mark Roberts. In truth, my obsession with this particular series has more to do with She-Ra, He-Man’s super sister, than it does with the muscle-bound hero himself. While you’ll never convince me that She-Ra gets enough page time, I can’t not find out how this one shakes out.

The infamous Skeletor has risen again. With the future of the world at stake, will he fight alongside He-Man and She-Ra or foil their plans to save it all?

What’s on your list this week?
