Emily M. Danforth’s The Miseducation of Cameron Post finally has a trailer! The movie, starring Chloe Grace Moritz and directed by Desiree Akhavan, debuted earlier this year in the Sundance Festival, where it won the US Grand Jury prize. It’s finally coming to theatres on August 3rd!

The Miseducation of Cameron Post is about a teen girl from Montana who is sent to a gay conversion camp by her family. From watching the trailer, the movie seems to focus primarily on the conversion camp and less so on Cameron’s life before it. Nevertheless, it also seems to keep pretty true to the book, showing flashes of her life in Montana, along with her friendships and experiences at the conversion camp.
