I’ve thought about this before, but there aren’t that many really good novels about music and musicians. So when I saw this tweet from a Book Riot follower, I thought I would put it to you guys:

While there are a lot of great non-fiction titles, my list of novels about musicians is pretty short: The Wishbones by Tom Perrotta, Great Jones Street by Don DeLillo, A Visit from the Goon Squad by Jennifer Egan, Bel Canto by Ann Patchett Coming Through Slaughter by Michael Ondtaatje.

What other good novels about music and musicians can you think of? Let us know in the comments.
