Her first, "Rock, Brock, and the Savings Shock," is about twin boys who disagree about how to handle their weekly allowances. Other books in the series address predatory lending, compound interest and more — all in fun, rhyming stories about animals and princesses.

About the Author
Sheila Bair has had a long and distinguished career in finance, academia, and government. She is perhaps best known as the Chair of the FDIC during the 2008-2009 financial crisis, when she was twice named by Forbes Magazine as the second most powerful woman in the world. A lifelong advocate for strong financial regulation and consumer protections, she is the author of the New York Times bestseller Bull by the Horns, her memoir of the financial crisis, and is a frequent op-ed contributor and TV commentator, as well as author of several children's books on financial matters.
Amy Zhing grew up in the city of Plymouth in Devon, England. She studied fine art at university but realized a career as an award-winning fine artist was far too serious for her. So she has decided to try and make it as an award-winning illustrator instead.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2022It's never too early or too late to learn about finances. We have been reading Sheila's books to our son since he was 4 years old (we have all 6 books). All are uniquely illustrated and are written in rhyme, which make these fun to read. Most importantly, these books explain financial concepts in an easily understandable and digestible format; and each ends with a concise summary. Buy these books and give your children the financial literacy that schools do not.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2022This is a fun story about a pair of sharks who cheat the animals of the Galapagos out of their "sardines" with increasingly-ridiculous sham businesses. (Don't worry, it all works out in the end, and the sharks get their comeuppance.) Kids will learn the important lesson that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Fun illustrations and rhymes make this an enjoyable book to read together.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 8, 2022My 6 and 8 year old grandkids loved this book. Fun word play. Conveys a basic financial lesson that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
