Publisher's summary

The New York Times and USA Today best-selling series.

While the Hell Divers cross an ocean to battle the machines, an old flesh-and-blood threat returns to the islands.

The mission to Rio de Janeiro ended in victory, but it came at a dire cost, killing most of those who set out to rescue the stranded survivors. Even worse, the skinwalkers’ leader, Horn, escaped with his demonic crew and is coming to take the throne.

Back at the Vanguard Islands, King Xavier Rodriguez has been severely injured in another battle to protect the kingdom. Now an infection threatens to kill the one man who can keep the peace. As he fights for survival, new intel from Rio de Janeiro gives humanity hope of destroying the biggest threat of all: the machines - if the machines don’t find the Vanguard Islands first.

An Amazing Series

This series needs every review and rate it can get. There is absolutely nothing I would change about the story nor the authors way of making you feel like you’re standing right next to each character through every battle, struggle, and success they have. I’m in Awh of how much I feel like I know all the characters. I’ve never cried, laughed, nor celebrated to a book full of fictional characters like this series has made me do. When I listen to this I can literally close my eyes and watch a movie with me standing there with them. I thank the author and narrator for making this series literally come to life. I will always be on the look out for the next book, and when it’s all finally over I will be both happy and sad that a great story has been told and it must end. But until then, please, don’t stop writing.

First review!!!!!

Love this series!! Good character depth and the author keeps the story moving at a perfect pace with plenty of action and great non-action parts and having R.C Bray as the narrator is a huge plus !!!! 100/10 would recommend !

Winner!!

This latest book in the award-winning Hell Divers series is nothing short of amazing. Multiple complex storylines. Edgy action scenes. Tug-at-the-heartstrings situations and incredible world building. All of this wrapped into a story that completes this series in a package that has you cheering/gasping/screaming with nearly every scene. What a wonderful wild ride this has been. Well done Mr. Smith and Mr. Bray!

Might Be The Best One Yet

Hell Divers VII: Warriors was one of those books that jumps off of the pages and into your heart. Seven books into the Hell Divers series Smith is still able to pull at my heartstrings and give me both moments I’ve been scared of and moments that I didn’t expect. A few times while reading this my thoughts were “Oh, when I talk to him I’m going to give him a piece of my mind” followed within a few minutes with “oh thank god” or “man… he got me again!”.

Most of the crew that you remember is still here and they end up being split into multiple different groups to save the Hell Divers and those they are protecting from certain death. The skin walkers are still a threat and their leader, Horn, is even threatening to come take the crown from X’s head (okay, we know X doesn’t actually wear the crown).

The thing that I really enjoyed about Warriors was that Smith was able to give each character real moments. X fell off the wagon (or got back on it again… I guess either works) and has a few moments when he takes in everything that’s happened to him and he partakes in some ‘shine. Ada’s journey is a really interesting one and I’m really glad that Smith spent as much time with her that he did. She has a really interesting character arc, especially within this book that is extremely rewarding and realistic.

So, it’s obvious that I liked this book. I liked it for its realism (for a Post-Apocalyptic futuristic wasteland). I liked it for it’s realism in characters and character development. I liked that it took its time with certain parts and then went balls to the wall with action in other. Can you tell I liked it?

Overall, combined with the great narration from R.C. Bray – Hell Divers VII: Warriors was easily one of the best books in the series. Smith outdid himself and wrote a book that jumps off of the pages.

Fantastic my favorite book of the series

I couldn't stop listening. it was so good I was afraid it would be the last in the series, but many new horizons their may be. I've only listened to it once so far so I'm not really qualified to say more about it yet. OK I read it again, for anyone who has been listening to The Hell Divers series you already know the action the fighting, but in books 6 and 7 theirs more of the family and rebirth of Civilization. I expect book eight will be three or four years latter, after this in time. I can't wait. I wish I was rich I'd buy the movie rights. Someday this will be the new Star Wars.

GREATEST

Well worth the wait. I didn’t know a new Hell Divers was in the making I was excited and preordered immediately months ago. I’ve listened to the books twice and enjoyed them every time. At the end I didn’t think the hell divers would be able to make it. I’m hoping for more. As always RC Bray is marvelous!! I could never tire of his voice ! 😃

Best Post-Apocalyptic Series!

The Hell Divers series is by far the best post-apocalyptic series I've ever read or listened to. Nicholas Sansbury Smith is one of only a few authors I'd buy anything from before even reading the description of the book because I already know I'm gonna love it. The Hell Divers series is definitely my favorite among his work. And of course R.C. Bray is one of the absolute best narrators!

Please don't be intimidated by the length of this series. It is definitely worth every minute of your time! I'm hoping this series will continue for several more books. I have no idea where this series will go next, but I have no doubt that Nick will keep it exciting!

Best yet in the series!

This is The seventh book in the series and I hope it continues to at least 14 books! The battle against the skin walkers and the metal people continue with X, Michael, and Mags in the forefront. Like all of the authors other books, action starts right away. It’s a thrilling, unexpected, nailbiting ride. Can’t wait for the next book!

Wonderful end to an edge of the seat saga!

Nearing the last couple chapters, I had to double check that there were no other books coming, but NS Smith did a great job of wrapping the story! Hail King Xavier!

Amazing series!

I am never disappointed in Nicholas Sansbury Smith’s characters and writing. X and our Hell Divers are once again putting their lives on the line to help make a place for humanity in a world so dangerous it’s hard to imagine them succeeding. The image of that world as described is awe inspiring as well as scary, I would pay to see it on a screen. Warriors is fast and intense, it’s almost impossible to put down. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
