Since I adore all animals, I would absolutely, 100%, love to befriend every single raccoon in the world. But, like, only in theory, because I am fully aware that in reality, they act like brilliant, evil toddlers who have hard-earned the nickname trash pandas. So rather than having a wild animal as a pet, I would like to morph into said trash panda in this unholy, trashiest of years: Be feral. Be ungovernable. Eat all the snacks. Eggs cost how much? I’ll just lumber into the chicken coop and cop me a few with my little hands that I can’t stop from rubbing together as if I’m always planning something evil. It’s obviously why nature painted a bandit mask onto my face.
