In her first solo comic book series—for shame comic book industry— Bobbi Morse (Mockingbird) is hilarious, stubborn, awesome, and follows no one’s orders. I love her! While superhero type comics aren’t usually at the top of my-favorites list, in this case Chelsea Cain’s writing in Mockingbird Vol 1 left me with emoji heart-eyes and counting down the days for Mockingbird Vol 2’s release. I’m also cursing anyone involved in the cancellation until they reverse they’re terrible, horrible, no good, very bad decision! And now with that off my chest another reason I loved this comic was spotting random things in the background of scenes, which quickly turned into me playing I Spy. Here are some (don’t want to give away all the fun) of my favorites: Here’s where I admit I know him from the 1986 film (one of my childhood favorites–no judging!) and not from the comics: i-spy-in-mockingbird-vol-1-howard-the-duck In case you ever wondered if Superheroes fight over food: i-spy-in-mockingbird-vol-1-kitchen-notes   Well that’s just true graffiti: i-spy-in-mockingbird-vol-1-spider-man-graffiti Doctor Who decor pillow: i-spy-in-mockingbird-vol-1-doctor-who-pillow Everyone poops, indeed: i-spy-in-mockingbird-vol-1-hulk-in-bathroom   Do you search the background scenes of comics for “Easter eggs?” I need to know which I’m missing out on!   Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save Save
