Joe Hill to Write Chapter for Book Riot’s START HERE

Last week, we launched a Kickstarter campaign to publish our first book, Start Here: Read Your Way Into 25 Amazing Authors.  The book is designed to help readers dive into work from authors they’ve always wanted to read but haven’t because they didn’t know where to start. It will cover classic to contemporary lit from a range of genres, and we have a fantastic group of expert contributors lined up to pen chapters.

We’re thrilled to announce today that Joe Hill, author of the novels Horns and Heart-Shaped Box and the Locke & Key comic book series, has signed on as a contributor! Hill will write a chapter about Bernard Malamud. If you’ve not heard of Malamud, you might have heard of his novel The Natural, which was adapted into a film starring Robert Redford. And if you’ve not heard of Malamud or The Natural, well, here’s your chance to be guided through the works of a great author by another author who’s passionate about his books.
