This play on the no-really-everything-is-going-to-be-all-right “Keep Calm and Carry On” meme comes to us from The Last Policeman by Ben Winters (the very same who wrote Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters).

At the heart of The Last Policeman is Detective Hank Palace’s determination to do his job, and do it well, even though the world is on the brink of destruction.”What would you do?” is the Big Question that underlies the book.
