Actually, for Alan Moore, that’s a pretty calm reaction to these Watchmen prequels.

Eugenides seems pretty confident in this Oscar pick, which is strange since in the same article he admits to not having seen all the nominated movies.

Good book, but do you really want a faithful representation of the pain of readjusting while going through it? I’d go with something stable and soothing, like Garrison Keillor, the Metamucil of novelists.
