Bridgerton has been the talk of the ton — that is, among everyone fashionably in the know. Maybe you’ve already watched every single episode of glittery Georgian-inspired (very much inspired — glitter is, ahem, not very historically accurate) romance. And I’m sure you, like all of us, were left wondering one thing: which eligible Bridgerton character would be your suitor? You might think you want to catch the eye of the ever-dashing Duke of Hastings, but maybe your more perfect match would be with a certain Bridgerton. Which one? Well, there are so many to choose from!

Sure, you may live in modern times where suitors and courting are a thing of the past, but romance is still oh so real. And falling for fictional characters is a tried and true pastime of bookish persons everywhere. It’s practically a rite of passage.

And with the news of a second season upon us, it’s high time to figure out just who, exactly, among the cast of eligible (and maybe not so eligible) Bridgerton suitors is your perfect match.

So the Bridgertons and Bassets and Featheringtons will return! But who among them should you keep your eye on? Ready to test your charms and discover once and for all just which Bridgerton character would be your perfect suitor? Be quite sure. After all, in the words of Lady Whisteldown: “who knows when and where one’s fortunes may change.”

Now that you know which Bridgerton character should be your suitor, maybe you’d like to discover some books similar to Bridgerton to read next, including these YA read-alikes.
