Karissa Knox Sorrell is an ESL teacher, poet, and writer who's lived in Bangkok, Thailand, Nashville, Tennessee, and currently, Lafayette, Louisiana. She has an MFA in Creative Writing and hopes to publish a YA novel someday. Between teaching immigrants, raising two middle schoolers, and writing, Karissa finds time to read about 50 books a year.
