Book Riot Has Avada Kedavra-ed the Comments Section

As of today, Book Riot’s comment section is no more. With Disqus introducing ads above the comments feed (ads we’ll have no control over), a significant uptick in bot comments, heavy moderation of comments in violation of our community guidelines, and the shift from comment sections to social platforms for community building and conversation, retiring comments onsite was a natural and necessary next step for us.
