I don’t know about you, but I’ve found the political climate of the past couple of years overwhelming. It’s easy to feel powerless when things seem so wrong with the world. And when that state of affairs seems determined to continue it’s even easier. That’s why the Draw The Line project caught my eye. It’s an anthology produced by over one hundred comic artists from sixteen countries full of positive political actions for the individual to take, and it’s currently crowdfunding.

The anthology features artists such as Hannah Berry, the UK Comics Laureate, Steven Appleby and Karrie Fransman. You can see the full list of artwork here, but I’ll include some of my favorites below.

The actions included in Draw The Line range from being a “raging granny,” through to “shop dropping.” I love how there are actions pitched for all ages and all levels of ability; even if the world scares you quite a lot right now, there’s still some positive actions you can take. One of the first might be to support a comics anthology which will be donating all creator profits to Refugee Action. (Clue: it’s this one).
