If you’re like me, you woke up to an email from Goodreads announcing a giveaway for Ayiti by Roxane Gay. Ayiti is her first book, a collection of poems and stories, fiction and non, about the Haitian diaspora experience. I’ve never been able to get my hands on it, and now it’s being rereleased this summer by Grove Press with a new cover. Squeal!

Roxane Gay is unstoppable. Also out this year is Not That Bad: Dispatches from Rape Culture, a collection of essays edited by Gay.

I’m so glad this book is getting a welcome-to-the-world party with a new face. And that’s what brings us together today: Cover face-off time!
