Veronica Roth has written a new epilogue for the Divergent trilogy. This story, entitled “We Can Be Mended,” will be gifted to readers who pre-order or purchase a copy of Roth’s forthcoming book, Carve the Mark, by January 17 (the publication date).

Good news for fans of the series–there’s a new Divergent epilogue!

Fox 2000 has acquired Sherman Alexie’s best-selling YA book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.

Hugh Jackman, who has a first-look deal at Fox, will play a supporting role in the film as well as serve in some producing capacity.

A+ will watch.

“The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” and “To Kill a Mockingbird” were the books a parent took issue with, because of their “use of racial slurs” according to WAVY-TV.

The books are now temporarily pulled from the district’s curriculum.

Another day, another parent having books pulled from school shelves.
