Spike Jonze’s Lovely Short Film About Books: Today in Critical Linking

Apparently this lovely short film Spike Jonze made about books has been out for years, but I had never seen it.

The next novel in the Kingsbridge series, A Column of Fire is set during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. The plot follows lovers Will Willard and Margery Fitzgerald over a half century of political and religious turbulence. The two are on opposite sides of the conflict between the Protestants and the Catholics.

Comixology is already a huge hub for digital comics, but now it’s entering the original content game. The company is debuting a new line of comics that will only be available through the service.

Makes total sense to me. You can’t really be the Netflix for comics unless you do what Netflix does: make stuff subscribers cannot get anywhere else.
