The 10 Best American Cities for Book Lovers: Today in Critical Linking

In order to measure which cities were the best for book lovers we did research on things like libraries, book stores, book clubs and book club members. Using this data, we hoped to measure two things: availability of books and opportunity for a shared reading experience. 

I have to say, I like the methodology of this ranking of the 10 Best American Cities for Book Lovers much better than Amazon’s more widely circulated list.


Moonlight producers Plan B and Adele Romanski are re-teaming with the film’s writer/director Barry Jenkins for a new take on the famed underground railroad. I hear the project, which is about to hit the TV marketplace, is a limited series based on Colson Whitehead’s bestselling novel “The Underground Railroad”.
