The 10 Best New History Books: Today in Critical Linking

I see fewer books lists about history, so I jumped on this list of the 10 Best New History Books.

That long-anticipated original content has finally arrived in the form of a new “Channels” section in the Audible mobile app. The section, currently in beta and rolling out on iOS and Android to some Audible members now, streams curated short-form audio — ranging from read-aloud versions of New York Times articles to complete shows from PRI’s The World to episodes of Charlie Rose. 

Audible is making a move to be not only the king of audiobooks, but the king of all downloadable audio content.

Writers David Mitchell, Ali Smith, Cathy Cassidy, Nick Hornby and David Nicholls are among the top names who have signed an open letter supporting the occupiers of Carnegie Library and condemning the proposed changes to the Lambeth library service.

Major cuts in library service across the UK have the book world there mobilizing.

Starting June 1, 2016, Associated Press writers will be instructed to lowercase both internet and web.
