Jess here with Saturday’s highlights from NYCC!

Mine? Probably wandering aimlessly by the Marvel booth after giving up on getting a wristband for the Jessica Jones/Daredevil panel…just in time to see the Daredevil cast hanging out there instead. Kismet! I was too far away for decent pictures, but I’m sure they could tell I loved them from afar.

Swapna Krishna:

swapna and sam maggs

I finally got to meet Sam Maggs, who is amazing and I’ve been Twitter friends with for a long time.

Jon Erik Christianson:

Con moment: Watching the first episode of Jessica Jones. It was a fascinating experience, and I’m very much on my way to being uncomfortable with the color purple. No, not that The Color Purple.

Preeti Chhibber:

My Geordie La Forge funko pop figurine!

Eric Margolis:

Con Moment: Instead of picking up hot con exclusives, I decided to finally snag an old classic that I had never read for the train ride home. I picked up Tim Truman’s “Hawkworld”. Why didn’t anyone tell me that I would love this thing!? What other late-80’s gems from DC have I ignored? I feel a future article brewing here.

Ardo Omer:

tran nguyen

This was a fated meeting because months ago, I saw it on the cover of Uncanny magazine and wanted to buy the magazine JUST for the cover art. Tran Nguyen is an amazing artist and a MUST buy. I get chills looking at it.
