This quiz that gives you a random book in a series and then asks you name the next book is either really easy or nearly impossible.
Apparently, Warner Bros. is excited by the “franchise potential” of the project. Which is endlessly hilarious to me because Purgatorio and Paradiso are so much more boring than Inferno. There’s a reason most people can only tell you things about one-third of the Divine Comedy. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to Paradiso being split into two movies to capitalize on the franchise, Twilight-style.
There’s just no WAY this is going to be good, right?
To encourage more people to read on public transportation, I proposed to our mayor Emil Boc that the city not charge passengers who read books. It took me more than a year to make this proposal a reality. Long story short, between the 4th and 7th of June 2015 everyone who “travelled by book” in Cluj-Napoca rode free of charge.

Random House Germany has just about gone DRM-free. Verlagsgruppe Random House has announced that it will be converting its titles to “soft DRM,” and allowing its distribution partners to go this route as well. With the soft DRM, the publisher said it could have a “reasonable protection against misuse” while also making access to its titles simpler for both customers and distributors.
Now this is interesting.
