Our daily round-up of news around the comics space, from the gutters and beyond.

“Momoa, who is set to play Aquaman in the upcoming DC Comics-based Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was asked to sign a poster at Indiana Comic Con. The fan asked him to send a message to “DC haters,” and the alleged answer speaks for itself.”

Oh Jason Momoa. We all love you, but let’s not start with the negativity because that’ll get old FAST and we all lose.

“In a cryptic official statement referencing “threats of violence and harassment,” DC Entertainment announced last night that it would no longer be publishing that controversial Batgirl variant cover.”

Presented without comment because uggghhhhhhhh this whole situation is so frustrating as a female comic book fan.

“This week, they’re topping them all with Archie & Friends: Wrestle Maniacs. That’s right, brother: A bunch of Archie comics about the King of Sports, professional wrestling.”

This is awesome. Every day, I love what the people over at Archie are doing more and more.
