Critical Linking for May 2nd, 2014

A curated list with 25 of the top children’s books, as rated by Goodreads members—one for each year from 1989-2013!

I’ve found children’s books devilishly hard to sort out, but this seems like a pretty good place to start.

Several weeks ago, the library quietly launched My Librarian, an online tool that lets readers connect with a real-life librarian, without actually visiting a library branch. Instead, readers can build a relationship with one of 13 librarians through video chats, blogs and phone calls to discuss their favorite books.

Well, deckle my edges. This is the coolest thing I have seen in some time.

So, here’s what I’m doing. I owed you another “Read More Romance” list and now I’ve given you one — Great Books from Diverse Romance Writers. I’m going to bring this list with me to BookCon. If you’re there, stop me and ask for a copy. Or better yet, come to our panel and pick one up after it’s over.

Good on ya, Sarah MacLean.
