Critical Linking: April 3rd, 2014

50 Super ideas for your home library

Oh my goodness.

Best-selling author John Grisham, who currently has over 275 million books in print worldwide, will explore some fresh territory with his 21st novel, which will be his first to feature a female protagonist—a young law associate named Samantha Kofer. A title has yet to be released, but this high-stakes legal thriller is slated to go on sale October 21 and will be published by Doubleday.

I’m going to go out on a limb and guess Kofer gets into some sort of jam.

The girl with the flaming curls (and not-so-flattering nickname) from Eleanor & Park and her soft-spoken, comic-book-loving crush will soon be getting the cinematic treatment, with DreamWorks Studios picking up film rights to Rainbow Rowell’s bestselling novel.

This going to get a bunch of readers really excited.
