Announcing Kurt Vonnegut Day

Earlier this year, we celebrated the release of Home with a whole day of posts about Toni Morrison. Well, another of our favorite authors has new material coming out this month, and it’s likely to be the last new work of his we see.

So on October 30th, coinciding with the release of a volume of his letters, Book Riot will be celebrating a Kurt Vonnegut Day. If you’re a fan and have an idea for something we should write about, leave a comment here, and we’ll consider it.

If you’ve never read Vonnegut, this might be a good chance to try something. (Might I suggest Slaughterhouse-Five?).

We promise everything will be beautiful and nothing will hurt.
