We’ve re-jiggered the writer guessing game we started last week. Instead of giving you all the clues at once (y’all are too sharp for that), we’re going to dole them out Name That Tune-style.
You can email your guess after any clue (to community (at) bookriot.com), but if you’re wrong, you’re out for the week. So you’ve got to pick your spot. Too early and you might be wrong; wait until you’re sure, and you might get scooped.
If no one guesses correctly within an hour of the first clue, we’ll do a second one. Still no right answers an hour after that? Another clue. First person to get it right will win a book related to the author. Got it?
All right then. Here are your first clues for this week:
1. I self-published my first book.
2. My work has been set to music by many prominent musicians, including Benjamin Britten and Leonard Bernstein.
