Benjamin Anders lives in New York City. In addition to Hegel, he loves cats, coffee, and The Arcade Fire as well as many other things to be expected of the young and sensitive urbane men of our age, most of which he will keep to himself. He has studied at The New School for Social Research and the University of Bonn. In the meantime, that is to say, in the spare time, he reads novels voraciously and writes articles on literature, politics, and culture. If academia doesn’t work out, his fallback plan is to secure hundreds of thousands of dollars of investment in tattoo removal, with the hopes of still profiting from the unique combination of barbarism and vacuity that is the liberal era.
