Handmaids Walk the Streets of Austin, Texas

Sometimes a PR stunt hits a little too close to home.
This week at Austin’s SXSW festival, Handmaids from Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale are walking the streets to promote Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of the novel. And are also kind of freaking me out.
According to the show’s official Twitter account, you can ask them “Should we walk by the river?”….which if you know the book is eery.
