OZ Museum, located in Wamego, Kansas, is the premiere destination for die-hard fans of Dorothy and her gang of misfits.
The museum showcases over 2,000 artifacts, including first editions of the book series by L. Frank Baum, artifacts from the 1939 MGM movie, and a pair of ruby slippers covered in 3,500 Swarovski crystals that were created by artist Jeffery Merrell to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the film.
Admission is just $5 for children 4-12 and $8 for ages 13 and up. Military discounts and group rates are available. Year-long membership packages are also available and range from $25 to $1,000.
