Charles Schultz’s Peanuts was a big part of my childhood and my introduction to comics. I spent countless Sunday mornings at the kitchen table with the comics section of the newspaper sprawled out in front of me, reading about the everyday misadventures of the Peanuts gang. Not to mention the annual viewings of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and A Charlie Brown Christmas. (If The Peanuts Movie doesn’t start with the CBS Special spiral, I won’t know what to do with myself.)
What I’m saying is my fellow Panelteers and I have much love for the Peanuts, and we’re excited to see Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the whole gang on the big screen in November. So when Blue Sky and Fox Animation posted the Peanutize Me! app on the film’s website, we had a lot of fun creating Peanuts versions of ourselves.
Possibly too much fun.
