Our daily round-up of news around the comics space, from the gutters and beyond.

“Comic books are renowned for their interconnecting worlds and their flashy battles—but also, apparently, their corporate synergy. Just in time for the end of Comics Week here at The A.V. Club, Empire Flippers has put together a detailed infographic of all the fictional businesses within the Marvel universe.”

Yay infographic!

“Netflix’s chief content officer, Ted Sarandos — the dude who commissioned the critically acclaimed Daredevil as well as the upcoming Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders series — confirmed today at the TCA press tour taking place in Pasadena, Calif., that Netflix viewers can expect a new superhero series roughly every six months.”

Okay, every 6 months sounds good, but I hope the quality stays high!

“In an awesome fashion mash-up that nobody could’ve foreseen, Muslim fans of the Japanese lolita fashion trend have begun pairing these sweet-as-candy outfits with their hijabs, creating a unique new style that Japanese lolita fans are falling in love with.”

Anime-inspired hijabs. I am intrigued.
