Your Guide to Toy Shopping at San Diego Comic-Con 2015

This post originally appeared on Panels, which is now Book Riot Comics

Are you attending SDCC? Now that it’s right around the corner, it’s time to have a look at what super cool toys you can throw your money at. Here are some of my personal suggestions, sorted by the companies bringing them to the event. Knowing is half the battle: you’ll have a much higher chance of getting the awesome merch you want if you have a look at what’ll be offered ahead of time.

Now, this isn’t a definitive list of every toy on the show floor: they’re just my personal highlights. For a full look at everything you can expect, check out SDCC’s blog when you’re done here.

Let’s start with Funko. They’ll be bringing loads of awesome toys to SDCC, but the highlights for me are a frosted Groot, unmasked versions of Flash and Arrow, an adorable Baymax with emoticons on display, and Batman and Groot Dorbz. Here’s a full look at all of their exclusives.

Hasbro is introducing the smallest figure they’ve ever produced, featuring Ant-Man. There are loads more, which you can view at your leisure; I just thought the tiny figure was rad.

Adventure Time fans, look no further than Kidrobot for some adorable releases.

If you’ve ever wanted to own a rather spiffy figure of Stan Lee, head on over to Booth #429 and grab this limited release.

I know I’ve already mentioned Funko, but these toys will be at Fugitive Toys’ booth. Check out these Diggle and Wonder Woman toys.

Here’s a little more Ant-Man love by Gentle Giant, who’ve made this limited run statue rather smaller than their usual fare, standing at only 4.25 inches tall.

Kotobukiya will be bringing a super rad and super red She-Hulk to SDCC. They’re bringing some other stuff, too.

LEGO are bringing some cool releases, including an Arsenal minifigure, which is a lottery figure. Full details at WSJ.

At the time of writing, Bluefin Tamashii Nations haven’t fully revealed their Sailor Moon release for SDCC, but keep your eyes peeled.

Alright, I couldn’t help myself. Here’s another Krypto, this time in plush form from DC Collectibles.
