The World’s Most Expensive Bookshelf

There’s no way to prove that there aren’t more expensive bookshelves out there, but at $75,ooo, this one-of-a-kind bookshelf hand-carved from Italian birch has got to be up there. Inspired by ivy he used to hold his toys as a kid, artist/designer Sebastian Errazuriz imagined this bookshelf to be part bookshelf, part sculpture. While blowing that 75 large on books is hard to pass up, if you’ve got the means, this bookshelf is an amazing piece.
